Displaced Radial Neck Fractures in the Paediatric Age Group Fixed with the Modified Metaizeau Technique: Experience of a Tertiary Care Hospital in Northern India

Abstract Background Radial neck fractures in the pediatric population represent up to one percent of all fractures. Judet type III and IV radial present difficulties closed open reduction. The Metaizeau technique has been used as a tool reduce these. We case series 17 patients with treated modified technique. Materials Methods Seventeen patients, eight male nine female over two-year period were managed described text. follow our Prospective Interventional study was six months outcomes scored using Mayo elbow Performance score. Results Fourteen had excellent scores, three good scores. Union rate 100%. reduction Three required additional Open reduction, out which reduced ROM an outcome at end months. Conclusion is extra articular, easy learn procedure results
